01 - Corporate
Government
Taured is an unprecedented project in the field
of international geopolitics: the creation of a new country governed
by a corporation. This initiative is not simply about "buying
sovereignty," but about establishing a new nation through legitimate
processes recognized by international law.
Public International Law does not contain
provisions that specifically prevent a company from establishing a
state government. The international community has historically
accepted various forms of government:
Absolute
monarchies in which families govern as if they were the owners
of countries.
Military
dictatorships without popular legitimacy.
Single-party
systems without electoral processes to determine who will govern
the nation.
Therefore, there is nothing that prohibits a
corporation from governing a State, provided that the process is
legitimate and internationally accepted.
The Montevideo Convention (1933) establishes the
fundamental requirements for the recognition of a nation-state:
1. Permanent population.
2. Defined territory.
3. Government.
4. Capacity to enter into relations with other States.
The first phase (the current phase) of the Taured
Project consists of financing the preparation of a complete business
plan through an NFT collection.
The second phase is the preparation of the business plan in order to
meet the following criteria:
1. Territorial Definition
2. Negotiation
-
Agreement with
the country holding territorial sovereignty, proposing a
compensatory amount.
-
Approval by the
legislative branch (congress/parliament) following the
constitutional guidelines of that country.
3. Popular Legitimation - Self-Determination of
the People
-
Democratic
expression regarding the change of government and country.
-
Plebiscite /
referendum with the local population to authorize the
negotiation and confirm it (sparsely populated areas are better
at this stage).
4. Once the territory is defined and accepted by
the legislative branch and the population, the treaty establishing
the new country would then be signed.
5. Constitution
6. Initial Development
Once the territory has been defined through a
treaty, the urban planning stage will begin.
-
Initial construction of basic
sanitation infrastructure.
-
Electricity and
telecommunications network.
-
Construction of main roads
connecting the most important neighboring cities to Taured.
-
Construction of a port and an
international airport.
-
Construction of residential
condominiums for the first inhabitants.
-
Construction of tourism
infrastructure - resorts.
-
Construction of commercial
centers, supermarkets, and a shopping mall.
-
Creation of special economic
zones with low taxes.
7. Creation of a holding company to manage all
investments made in Taured by the Corporation.
