THE BOOK

Synopsis

On October 2, 2024, during a partial solar eclipse, Helios interrupts a journey along the coast of Rio Grande do Sul to leave flowers at a grave in the secluded Bojuru Cemetery. What should have been a brief stop becomes the beginning of an extraordinary experience when he encounters John Zegrus, a citizen of a mysterious country called Taured.

Zegrus claims to come from the future of a parallel universe, where journeys of consciousness through time and between different realities are made possible by advanced technologies. In his world, Taured has become a prosperous nation administered like a large corporation. Now, he must entrust Helios with a seemingly impossible mission: to begin, in this world, the foundation of a new country inspired by that model.

However, before fully understanding his responsibility, Helios accidentally crosses a dimensional portal and emerges in a dark and devastated version of Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Surrounded by people trapped in strange behavioral loops, unsettling figures with disturbing eyes, and beings who seem to belong to different eras, he must find a way out of that dystopian universe and discover whether there is still a path back home.

Upon returning, Helios realizes that his journey has only just begun. The mission entrusted to him by Zegrus becomes the Taured Project: first, the creation of a digital micronation, followed by the initial steps toward founding a real nation and a Sovereign Corporate State. The dream is to establish a futuristic, low-tax country administered by experts, artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced technologies—a nation designed to promote peace, prosperity, government efficiency, and quality of life for all its citizens.
